You might need to update your WhatsApp
You might know from the news that a security bug in WhatsApp was recently discovered. It was confirmed that a small number of accounts have been affected but as a precaution, users are encouraged to update their app.
If you have a corporate Moto G mobile and use WhatsApp, you don’t need to worry – our default setting is set to install the latest update, but please do double check this has happened.
On Android devices, you are protected if you have WhatsApp version 2.19.134 or later.
You can check that your auto update settings are correct:
- Open the Google Play app
- Click on the 3 horizontal lines icon at the top left corner
- Select Settings
- Select Auto-update apps and ensure it is shown as auto update apps over WiFi only.
